March to Ida Chong’s Constituency Office on Shelbourne St.

We’ll be marching to Ida Chong’s Constituency Office to hand deliver the letters that UVic students have written over the past month to Premier Gordon Campbell about their concerns regarding old-growth logging practices in BC. Ida Chong is the MLA for Oak Bay/Gordon Head, which the UVic campus is a part of. We will ask her, as our representative in the BC Legislature to deliver our letters to Premier Campbell.

Exact time of departure from campus TBA… her office is close to the intersection of McKenzie/Shelbourne, so it is an easy 15-20 minute walk from campus.
