The Community Association of Oak Bay and UVic’s Faculty of Social Science, Department of Geography and Office of Community Based Research invite you to view the Oak Bay Green/Asset Map- a work in progress -

In the Social Sciences and Mathematics Building (SS&M), room B215.

Community mapping is a tool for engaging communities and mobilizing Community assets, values and visions. Our Oak Bay Community Green Mapping Project is one of hundreds of other map-making and planning projects going on around the world as part of the Green Map System.  Over 400 maps have been made throughout the world using the common Green Map icons.  The Green Map System is coordinated by Green Map a non-governmental organization. Locally the Common Ground Community Mapping Project and mapping.uvic.ca is our facilitator.”
