Keynote Speaker: Gordon Price

“Gordon Price will be speaking about the emergence of the “Post-Motodom City”: how our cities are moving away from car dependence towards urban regions that offer more choices and better livability.  Gordon Price is an outstanding communicator and an urban transportation expert.  He is the Director of the ‘City Program’ at Simon Fraser University. He also writes, teaches and consults on urban development and planning. He served six terms as Councilor for the City of Vancouver, from 1986 to 2002. He was also on the board of the Greater Vancouver Regional District (now Metro) and TransLink, the regional transportation authority.”
